$\cos(-60)^{0}$
since the angle is negative, subtract from 360
$\Rightarrow \cos(360-60)^{0}=\cos(300)^{0}$
300 is in the fourth quadrant and cosine is positive
$\Rightarrow (\cos (360-300)^{0})$
$\Rightarrow (\cos (60)^{0})$
$\Rightarrow \dfrac{1}{2}$
