Area of cylinder with one end closed= $\Pi r(2h+r)$
$\Pi =\dfrac{22}{7}, r=3.5cm, h=8cm$
Area= $\dfrac{22}{7}\times 3.5(2\times 8+3.5)$
Area= $\dfrac{77}{7}(16+3.5)$
Area= $11\times 19.5=214.5cm^{2}$
