the question is wrong as it should be x (x – 3) = -1
Find X^3(x^3-18)
Solution:
x (x – 3) = -1
taking cube on both sides ,
×^3(X-3)^3= (-1)^3
×^3(x^3-27-9x^2+27x)= -1
from question, x^2-3x=-1
x^2= -1+3x keeping the value of x^2
x^3(x^3-27-9(-1+3x) +27x =- 1
x^3(x^3-27+9) =-1(-27 and +27 gets cancelled)
therefore,X^3(x^3-18) = -1
Hence answer is -1
