A boy is 2 times the age of his sister. His sister was 4 years old 2 years ago. How old is the boy now?

    Let the boy age be b
    Let the sister age be a
    \Rightarrow b=a\times 2
    Two years ago\Rightarrow a-2=4
    \Rightarrow a=4+2=6
    Presently, the sister’s age is 6+2=8
    \therefore b=8\times 2=16
    The boy is currently 16 years old
