$\cos (-150^{0})$
since it is negative angle, subtract from 360 first
$\Rightarrow \cos (360-150)^{0}=210^{0}$
210 falls in the third quadrant and cosine is negative
$\Rightarrow (-\cos (210-180)^{0})$
$\Rightarrow (-\cos (30)^{0})$
$\Rightarrow -\dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}$
