    A square matrix is said to be a skew matrix if its transpose is equal to its negative. For example: the matrix A=\left(\begin{matrix}0&b&c\\-b&0&d\\-c&-d&0\end{matrix}\right) is an example of a skew matrix because A^T=\left(\begin{matrix}0&-b&-c\\b&0&-d\\c&d&0\end{matrix}\right)=-A
